About
Churchdale Farm is a wonderful central Peak District National Park holiday base. It offers three 5 star Gold Award self-catering holiday cottages and in 2018 was awarded the Visit England Rose Award for excellence. It also holds a Green Tourism Gold Award.
Churchdale has a secluded farm location, but, is only 2 miles from the historic Derbyshire market town of Bakewell and a 10 minute drive from both Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. The area is a treasure trove of history, beauty and fine gastro experiences. For those who enjoy a stroll from the cottage, leave the car behind and walk or cycle to the famous Monsal Trail at the bottom of the drive and Ashford-in-the-Water , just a leisurely stroll through the fields. Cycle Storage is available on site, if you prefer not to bring your own bike Cycle Hire is a mile away at Hassop Station. New for 2018 we have installed an Electric Car Charging Point.
The 3 self-catering cottages have been thoughtfully converted from old farm buildings and retain charming wooden beams and natural stone to provide spacious living accommodation. The sitting rooms all have wood burning stoves and there is free wi-fi. The kitchens are all fully equipped with dishwashers, washing machines etc.
Wye Cottage, a romantic hideaway for 2, has a large beamed bedroom, sitting room, fitted kitchen and a newly renovated bathroom with large walk-in shower and bath. 3D Tour of Wye Cottage
Dove Cottage, sleeping 3, is a charming former milking parlour with a cosy sitting room, kitchen, double and single bedrooms and bathroom. 3D Tour of Dove Cottage
Derwent Cottage, sleeping 4, is ideal for 2 couples. This upside down cottage has an upstairs kitchen and large beamed sitting room. Downstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and new walk-in shower and a twin-bedded room with a further bathroom. 3D Tour of Dewent Cottage
A warm welcome awaits you!
