By road: From north, M1 to J28-A38 to Derby-A52 to Ashbourne. From south, M1 to J25-A52 to Ashbourne (don't take the ring road) From Ashbourne take the A515 towards Buxton. The access to Callow Top is 0.5 miles from Ashbourne on the left. Two large signs mark the entrance. Public transport: nearest train station is Derby, buses run from Derby to Ashbourne.
