A contemporary but cosy room, the woodstrip flooring has heating underneath and rugs for bare feet; the sofa and easy chairs seat four comfortably. The remarkably convincing electric 'wood-burning stove' is operated at the flick of a switch. A television, video and DVD player, radio and CD player are provided for nights staying in. The well-equipped oak kitchen has a fan-assisted electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, high quality kitchen utensils and ample food storage. The washing/drying machine is tucked away under the stairs, out of sight and hearing. The modern, white bathroom has a full size bath and thermostatically-controlled, powerful shower. There is underfloor heating beneath the limestone floor tiles, a heated towel rail and a shaver point. Bath and hand towels are provided for each guest.The entrance hallway provides coat hanging space and room for shoes. As in many older properties, the staircase is quite narrow and awkward – but there are good views from the windows on the way up!
