WET WEATHER DAYS
The GREAT British weather can turn against us somes, but don't let that spoil your visit to the Peak District!
There's loads of things to do for kids of all ages in and around the Peak District - whatever the weather.
Ride the worlds first 14 looping rollercoaster at a world-class theme park, or scale the heights on a cable car ride, with stunning vistas that will take your breath away.
Let loose your inner ape and take to the trees on a high-wire woodland adventure, or go deep underground to see the Ice Age ‘rock art’ and rock formations in one of the famous caverns.
Step back in time and forge ahead on a nostalgic ride at one of our many railway centres – some with their own locomotive collections – or pay an old penny to travel in style on a vintage tram.
And when it’s wet, head for one of more than 40 free museums, explore one of our grand historic houses or get physical in an Olympic-standard swimming pool, world-class ice rink or state-of-the art leisure centre. There’s no excuse to let anything rain on your parade.
