A warm welcome awaits at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Inn. A family run 17th Century Coaching Inn located in the heart of Castleton in the Peak District close to Peveril Castle and the 4 famous Caverns. We offer a traditional pub atmosphere with a great selection of homemade meals and 6 local award winning cask conditioned ales as well as bed and breakfast accommodation. There are no games machines, sky sports or pool tables to spoil the ambience, just a cosy atmosphere in relaxed surroundings. We have 10 tastefully decorated, en suite bedrooms all with flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. A freshly cooked full English breakfast (vegetarian option available) is served in the morning with our full menu served from 12 noon daily.
