The property is surrounded by some of the best walking country that the Peak Disrict has to offer with a dozen walks in different directions starting straight from the door. Bakewell, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are all nearby and there are two pubs and a restaurant within an easy stroll. There is ready access to the Monsal Trail which offers cycle routes to Bakewell and Buxton. With seven luxury/standard en-suite rooms and ample off road parking, we are particularly suitable for groups of any description.

From Bakewell, take the A6 towards Buxton. After 1.5 miles turn right onto the A6020. Take your 1st left into village of Ashford in the Water and then 1st right opposite the Ashford Arms onto the B6465. Follow this road for 1.5 miles to Monsal Head. You will see the Monsal Head Hotel on your left, Castle Cliffe is 100 yards further on, on your right.
From Bakewell take the 173 bus to Monsal Head. Nearest railway stations are Grindleford or Matlock Bath, nearest mainline station is Chesterfield.
