Enjoying a lovely village green setting in Monyash, deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park, these beautiful and well equipped limestone barn conversions have wonderful character and charm.

In the village are The Bulls Head pub with restaurant and the popular Smithy Cafe. There are many walks from the doorstep including Lathkill Dale, Arbor Low and the Limestone Way. Cycling is available locally on the Tissington and High Peak Trails with a cycle hire centre at Parsley Hay. Alternative attractions include Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Buxton and its Opera House, Dovedale, Haddon Hall, Matlock and the Heights of Abraham and Alton Towers.

The Barn, sleeping 8, is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom self catering property with attractive beamed ceilings, stone flagged floors, a gated drive with off-street parking and central heating. There is not a woodburner in this property. Maximum of 2 dogs by arrangements.

Hillcrest Barn sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms has a separate dining room, wood burner, electric storage heaters, shower room and enclosed rear garden. There is parking for one car on the drive, with unrestricted parking on the road and nearby. We are sorry we cannot take dogs in Hillcrest Barn (except assistance dogs).

We now have wifi in The Barn but not in Hillcrest Barn.

From Bakewell take the B5055 to Monyash (4 miles). The Barn is in the centre of the village on the green and Hillcrest Barn is almost opposite.
