Set between Dovedale and the Manifold Valley, The Old Sunday School provides self catering accommodation for groups of up to 8 people. There are spectacular walks right from the door through open and rolling countryside. There are traffic free cycle trails such as the High Peak and Tissington trails close by. Alton Towers is just half an hours' drive away. Why not visit some of the elegant stately homes, including Chatsworth House, just a short drive away. There's something for everyone, so come to this quiet corner of the Peak District to relax and unwind amidst beautiful scenery.
The accommodation in this former Wesleyan Methodist Sunday School has been turned upside down to take advantage of its many features. It has exposed beams, arched windows and polished wooden floors. There are 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The imposing and kitchen/dining lounge with vaulted ceiling with exposed timbers, arched windows and trusses has plenty of character. It's totally open plan so everyone can enjoy their holiday together. No one is left out! The Old Sunday School is well equipped with all the essentials for your stay.

From the South : If approaching from the M1, at junction 23 take the A50 towards Stoke-on-Trent. Follow the A50 until the first roundabout, go straight across the roundabout and take the next exit, the A515 north to Ashbourne. In Ashbourne, take the Buxton road (A515) up a very steep hill. At the top of the hill follow the road for about half a mile and turn left (signposted Dovedale, Thorpe and Ilam). Follow this road to the end,turn right at monument. Follow the road to the end and at the junction turn left to Wetton. Turn right directly opposite the Royal Oak and The Old Chapel is situated on the left after about 100 yards.
From the North via Buxton. Take the A515 towards Ashbourne, turn right towards Hartington.
Drive straight through Hartington to the nest village, Hulme end. At the Manifold Hotel, turn left over the bridge and follow the road for about 2 miles to a crossroads on the brow of a hill. Turn right and follow the road to Wetton. As you approach the village, The Old Chapel is the third building on the right.
From the North via Leek or Macclesfield. From Leek take the A523 towards Ashbourne. After about 5 miles you will see The Green Man Pub on the right at a crossroads. Turn left here (signposted to Longnor, Hartington and Warslow). Follow the road for about 4 miles until you reach the village of Warslow. Drive straight through and take the second turning on the right at the white railings (sign posted to Hartington). After about half a mile you reach Hulme End. Once over the bridge turn right by the Manifold Hotel. Follow this road as above.
