A warm welcome awaits our guests at Crown Cottage, a comfortable and spacious 18th century former village inn, situated in the centre of historic Eyam village. A few minutes walk to all the village amenities-church, museum, pub, Plague graves etc.
Great breakfasts with local prize winning sausages, free range eggs and Derbyshire oatcakes from a recipe inherited with the house. Guest sitting room available during the day and evenings, own key and private off road parking. Drying facilities for outdoor gear, and indoor storage for cycles. Peaceful garden and verandah with open views over countryside.
Ideally located for local walking, climbing, caving and cycling. If required hire bikes can be delivered to Crown Cottage by our partner cycle tours specialist. Major tourist attractions like Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Castleton and Bakewell are all within 7 miles. Plenty of walking guide books and local maps available, and help with planning outings or walks from your knowledgable hosts. Very convenient for several popular wedding venues.
Comfortable bedrooms with en-suite facilities, tea and coffee trays, TV/DVD and freestanding radio. We look forward to welcoming you to Eyam and our home, Crown Cottage.
