Slack Hall is a 17th Century farmhouse situated on a working dairy, beef and sheep farm. Located 1 mile from Chapel-en-le-Frith, it offers superb views over the surrounding countryside. Within easy reach of Bakewell, Buxton and Manchester, it is the ideal base for walking and touring. We offer comfort and hospitality in our spacious en-suite bedrooms with colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Overnight grazing for horses available.

From Buxton or Stockport follow A6 to Chapel-en-le-Frith. Take the B6061 signposted Rushup/Edale. After approximately 1 mile we are the first farm on the left.

There is a regular bus service from the railway station at Chapel-en-le-Frith to Edale/Castleton, which also connects to the main Buxton-Manchester service.
