Details

This mid terraced stone cottage has recently been improved to provide very comfortable accommodation situated in the local conservation area and close to the nearby Bugsworth canal basin network, being the largest inland port to survive intact. Enjoy some walks by the canals or be more adventurous with hillside walks that abound from your doorstep. The cottage dates back some 15O years and is accessed from a small front garden. with a small sitting out area into an internal lobby which leads into the cosy and welcoming beamed lounge with open coal fire inset in a character stone fireplace. A door to the rear leads through to the fully equipped kitchen dining area from which some wonderful views of Eccles Pike can be enjoyed. The stairs from the lounge lead to the two bedrooms, on your right to the front of the cottage is the twin bedroom (this can be made up as super king sized double bed on request). To the rear is the main bedroom with a double bed and enjoys views of the surrounding area. There is a shower room with cubicle and hand basin and then a separate toilet with further hand basin. There is a small patio sitting out area accessed down seven steps from the kitchen which benefits from the sun throughout most of the day.
