On entering Bakewell proceed to roundabout in Rutland Square, in the centre of the town. At the roundabout remain in the right hand lane for Monyash and turn right up Church Street on the left hand side of the Rutland Hotel. Continue up the hill for 300 yards and turn 2nd left on Butts View. The Cottage is 100 yards on the right hand side, entrance to rear through archway. Park on opposite side of road well into the side. Bus routes: Sheffield - X18 or 240, Chesterfield 170.
