Jasmine Cottage is a two bedroomed, Grade II listed cottage built in approximately 1750. The cottage has retained much character with original features such as a large Inglenook fireplace and oak beams to most rooms.

The Cottage is situated in a very quiet location in the picturesque Peak District village of Winster, surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet still within easy reach of Bakewell, Chatsworth and Matlock. It is ideally placed for touring Derbyshire and if you enjoy walking there are many public footpaths around Winster with beautiful views.

Jasmine cottage has had many guests over the years. Many of our guests return every year.

The cottage is 250yards from the Bowling Green Inn and also the local, community owned, village shop.

The cottage has one double and one twin bedded room and is fully central heated throughout. Whilst older children will love the “hidden” bedroom at the top of the house, Jasmine Cottage is not recommended for toddlers due to steep stairs and widely spaced balustrades.

From M1 north: Leave at J29 and follow the signs to Chesterfield. After following the dual carriageway for approx 5 miles you will reach a large roundabout. Go left at this roundabout and carry on to the traffic lights. Get in right hand lane and turn right. Go up hill and on reaching roundabout go straight ahead. Follow the road for approx 3 miles and on reaching the top of a long, steep hill turn right signposted Darley Dale. Follow the road to Darley Dale, passing through Two Dales on route. On reaching Darley Dale you will come to a staggered crossroads. Turn right and immediately left (effectively straight across) at this junction and follow the road for 4 miles to Winster. On reaching Winster village turn 1st left at the market house on to East Bank, follow the road approx 250 yards up east Bank and Jasmine Cottage is on the right hand side where the road forks.
From M1 South: Leave at J28 and follow the A38 signposted Derby. After approx 5 miles take exit signposted Matlock. On leaving A38 you will approach a roundabout, take 3rd exit signed Matlock and then immediately left at traffic lights. Follow road until T junction and turn right and then left 200 yards later signed Matlock. Carry on to Matlock, take 2nd exit at roundabout signed A6 Bakewell and follow A6 to Darley Dale. After passing DFS Furniture on your left take the next left turn signed Winster and follow directions as above.
