Sleeping 2/4/6 the 3 owner supervised stone cottages can sleep up to 12 guests if booked together. They are ideal for couples, friends getting together or family gatherings. Two recommended pubs serving excellent home made food and local beers just 5 minutes walk away. Miles of varied walks from the door with the added bonus for walkers and cyclists of the traffic free Monsal Trail close by. Come home to a real fire at the end of a perfect day....

Newly converted, open plan living area, impressive spiral staircase to large bedroom, French windows to garden.

From Bakewell, follow A6 towards Buxton for 1 mile. Turn right into Ashford in the Water and follow signs for Monsal Head. Continue out of Ashford in the Water following the B6465 uphill for approx 1 mile until you reach the Monsal Head Hotel on your left. Turn immediately right towards Little Longstone. The entrance to Chestnut House/Dove Cottage, Chatsworth Cottage is the third on the right. The entrance to the Lodge is the fourth entrance on the right. You can reach Monsal Head by bus from Tideswell (Service No 173 to Tideswell). Nearest railway stations are Buxton and Chesterfield (or Grindleford on the Hope Valley line).
