Flash Well Dressing at Flash
This ancient custom is mainly found in the Peak District area and is the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from natural materials. In Flash, well dressing was started 5 years ago to coincide with Flash Church Flower Festival and the famous Tea Pot Parade. The villagers dress one well.
Well Location
By Village Farm, opposite the New Inn pub.
Blessing Service
Saturday 15 June 2013, between 2.30pm and 3.00pm at the Well. This service follows the Tea Pot Service.
Refreshments are available in the Church (from 15th June )and in the Village Hall (15 June only)

From Leek take the A53, heading towards Buxton. Follow the road for about 7 miles until just before the Travellers Rest is a sharp left hand turn into Flash. The junction has a sign for Northfield riding school at its entrance.
