Red Oktober at Crich Tramway Village
A celebration of Eastern Bloc vehicles including Trabants, Wartburgs, Skodas and Tatras.
The event will include parades of cars driving down the Tramway street alongside the trams, recreating an authentic scene from Eastern Europe prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Re-enactor groups portraying East German border guards, Russian soldiers and British soldiers of the period will be on duty. Revolutionary parades will take place at set times during the day.
