The Gallery Gift Shop sells a changing programme of work by local artists and craftworkers as well pocket money souvenirs, cards, local history books, maps and guides.

New!! From April 2010 the shop will sell work created by two local craftworkers Suzannah Doxey and Katie Brooks both who have previously exhibited at Wirksworth Festival.

Suzannah creates hand painted glass pieces such as glasses and vases and gifts. Most pieces are under £10. Suzannah also makes pieces to order for special occasions such as weddings and anniversaries.

Kaite creates beautiful, individual, silver jewellery with prices starting around £25.

New extended range of items in the shop. Also a redeveloped display area on the ground floor.
Shop and gallery are free of charge.

From the A6 turn onto the B5036 and go through Cromford. Continue up the hill towards Wirksworth, under an old railway bridge and down towards Wirksworth. As you approach the centre of Wirksworth, before a footbridge over the road, there is a garage on the right hand side which has a car park. There is also parking on the Market Square and off Coldwell Street behind the Vaults pub.
The number 61 bus from Bakewell to Derby stops at Wirksworth.
