Baslow & Chatsworth Guided Walk at BaslowStarting in the picturesque village of Baslow set off with Michael Cornfield up the hill to join Baslow edge above the village of Calver, following the edge to Wellington’s monument with panoramic views of the Derwent Valley, we then descend to cross the valley to Nelson’s monument and the 3 ships up on Birchen edge, from here we cross into the Chatsworth Estate to follow Dobb edge to the hunting tower overlooking the house, going down to the house for tea, following the river back to Baslow. A walk of 8 miles
Warm/waterproof clothing and walking boots/sturdy footwear essential.
Dogs accepted on lead. Please bring a packed lunch and fee for the car park and tea stop at Chatsworth.
