ANDY HEMINGWAY
Andy’s passion for the landscape began during childhood. Born and raised in Huddersfield, regular walks on the surrounding hills with his father, cemented an early love of the rugged and unique landscape of the Pennines, that has lasted a lifetime.
Andy graduated from Norwich School of Art with a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art Printmaking in 1991 and has worked in commercial design and photography since.
"For me, landscape photography is much more than just capturing a view. I often research the history, folklore and geology of the areas that I shoot and try to convey something of the spirit or essence of the place. Returning time and time again to capture subjects in different light, weather conditions and seasons, every visit produces something different."
