Villager Jim is a local wildlife photographer living in the picturesque village of Foolow deep in the heart of the countryside.

Running a very busy business by day for holiday accommodation www.peakdistrictonline.co.uk Jim spends his dawns and dusk's out in the fields around the villages taking wildlife photos .

Says Jim " the perfect remedy for busy stressful days is to get up before anyone else usually at first light (4am in summer) and enter a world most people never see where all the wildlife is still up and about " Jim specialises in Owls , with Barn Owls and Little owls being his favourite.

Jim won last years Springwatch programme photo competition out of 50,000 photos of a mother starling feeding her young one.
