The 18th century style garden has pools, vistas, a yew tunnel and Bakewell's wrought iron arbour. Lord & Lady Ralph Kerr and their family live in the Hall throughout the year.

Melbourne Hall is in the village of Melbourne, 9 miles south of Derby on the B587. The Hall is situated in Church Square off Church Street, which is adjacent to the market place (centre of Melbourne).
From the M1 leave at Jn 23a/24 & take A453 for East Midlands Airport. Pass the Airport on the right & straight over the roundabout. Take the 2nd right at Isley Walton, signed Melbourne. Pass the Racetrack on the right. Over a railway bridge, turn left for Melbourne.
Left again in the village & head for the church.

Nearest Bus station is Derby. Bus No. 68 takes you to Melbourne Market Place (5 mins walk to the Hall down Church Street). Bus No.
69 from Derby to Swadlincote stops in Church Street Melbourne, by the Hall.
