The successful season-long magazine that puts you in front of over 36 million visitors to Derbyshire each year.
At Visit Peak District and Derbyshire, our job is not only to increase the number of visitors who arrive in Derbyshire every year but also to ensure their stay is a memorable one.
Last year we developed a brand new initiative designed to help our guests make the most of their visit - the high-quality, full-colour Welcome magazine - and it has proved to be a resounding success.
It has received compliments right across the board and the evidence is that the 100,000 copies we printed have been out there in the market place doing just what was intended - providing visitors with a stylish guide to things to do and see whilst they are here with us.
Working in partnership with Derbyshire-based Bradgate Publishing Limited, we have produced the 2009 edition.
Once again, the magazine is available through the county's accommodation sector, attractions, visitor information points and throughout Derbyshire's comprehensive and well used Tourist Information Centre network. Put simply, it is the most widely and effectively distributed promotional vehicle ever produced for the Peak District and Derbyshire area.
