Visit Peak District & Derbyshire are delighted to invite suppliers to the
tourism industry to join us at our second Annual Tourism Conference. The event
is a one-day conference held over two dates in November 2007. In 2006, our first
event attracted over 400 tourism businesses from across the Peak District &
Derbyshire.
This year, the event will focus on quality in tourism, and we are delighted that
our keynote speaker will be Ruth Watson, well-known hotelier, restaurateur, food
writer and Channel 5’s Hotel Inspector.
As well as Ruth Watson, delegates will be able to hear from other key players
in the tourism industry, including Chief Executive of Visit Peak District &
Derbyshire, David James.
Our ‘Master Classes’ are a series of workshops covering issues important to our
industry, including ‘Marketing on a Budget’, ‘Website Optimisation, ‘Competing
in the Venue Hire Market Place’ and much, much more.
