This five day programme has been specially designed for accommodation providers
by Visit Peak District and Derbyshire, the Mitre Group and industry specialist
Tina Heathcote to provide you with all the tools you will need to take the successes
of the 2007 season and build on them for 2008.
Challenge 1 - 05/11/07 Looking Back and Moving Forward - a chance to reflect on last years successes and plan for 2008
Challenge 2 - 19/11/07 Customers First - everything that you need to know to make your guests feel cherished and how
to handle difficult situations if things go wrong
Challenge 3 - 03/12/07 Quality Next! - all the benefits of being quality assured, providing a quality product and
service and legal requirements
Base Camp! - 17/12/07 Inspirational speaker and networking over a Christmas buffet lunch
Challenge 4 - 07/01/08 Selling IT - how to make the most of modern technology to reach your customers and provide
them with the service they require, this is also an opportunity for you to identify
your unique selling points!
Challenge 5 - 21/01/08 What Next? - by the end of this session and the challenge you will have a 2008 business plan
and have identified what you're good at and where the gaps are.
The event will take place 10.00am - 3.00pm at Mitre Group, Molyneux Business
Park, Whitworth Road, Darley Dale.
The Five Peak Challenge, including your stay at Base Camp should cost approx.
£1,200 each but as VPDD and the Mitre Group have been able to secure external
funding the cost to you, including all materials, refreshments and lunches will
be £75.00 per person. In addition if you are in an eligible Objective 2 postcode
we have 20 FREE places to offer*.
