Champagne celebrations were flowing as The Walnut Club in Hathersage were awarded
the ‘Most Promising New Business’ award at the Business Awards Derbyshire 2008 as well as reaching the shortlist
for the 'Business Commitment to the Community' award.
Hosted by Gyles Brandreth, the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chamber's awards took
place at Pride Park Stadium on Friday 22nd February 2008. Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chamber is the largest Chamber
of Commerce in the East Midlands and following the recent merger of the two Chambers,
they represent thousands of businesses in across the two counties.
The Walnut Club restaurant and outside catering company have also been awarded
entry into the prestigious Michelin Guide 2008 and now with the most promising
new business award , 2008 has started of perfectly. The year has already seen
the successful launch of their second site The Walnut Club Champagne bar &
grill restaurant on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield.
