The Enjoy England Excellence Awards celebrate the best of English tourism. The
Awards are known throughout the industry as the ‘Oscars’ of tourism. They promote
healthy industry competition and high standards, helping to ensure England's place
as a world-class destination. The prestigious awards night will be held on 8
October 2008 (for entrants outside Derbyshire county boundary, Georgina will be

East Midlands Tourism Enjoy England Excellence Award Winners 2007
GMTV presenter Andrew Castle presented Gold awards to a total of 16 businesses
from across the region at the 2007 awards ceremony held to celebrate tourism successes
in the East Midlands. Amongst the winners there was a good representation from
the Peak District and Derbyshire with one Gold winner, four Silvers and a Bronze
