Spookyshire

A whole month of bewitching family fun!

We've put together a bewitching brew of Hallowe’en happenings and ghostly goings-on to entertain witches and wizards of all ages throughout October.

Scores of events – ranging from bat walks and pumpkin parties to murder mystery dinners and ‘tomb trails’ – are scheduled at a wide range of attractions across the Peak District and Derbyshire.

Make your toes curl on a Candle-lit Ghost Tour at Peak Cavern in Castleton, feel your blood run cold with some night climbing and night canoeing during a Hallowe’en Party and Spooky Tour at Tittesworth Water or tremble during a Terror Tour at Poole’s Cavern in Buxton.

If you feel brave enough to venture further afield, join some ghoulish fun and games at the Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath, wander through a magical Garden of Light at Queen’s Park in Chesterfield or take the Hallowe’en Steam Train at Rudyard Lake.

Use the links opposite for more details and to book your accommodation – all of which is star-rated, so you'll certainly be able to 'rest in peace'! And with so much to enjoy during the week, you can spread the fun over several days to make the most of what's on offer throughout the region.

The Spookyshire pages will be updated regularly with special offers, activities, attractions and events for this great half term holiday festival so be sure to check back frequently.
