Pride & Prejudice Footprints Walk (February 13)
A chance to walk in the footsteps of Lizzie Bennet romancing about Mr Darcy, along the moors and Stanage Edge – an enigmatic 10 mile walk over open country with stunning views.
Pride & Prejudice Walk (February 14)
A Valentine's Day walk around the most romantic of settings, the Chatsworth estate, known as Pemberley, the home of Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. This seven mile walk will allow time to visit the house for the full romantic effect.
Chocolate Indulgence Walk
A guided walk of approximately two and a half miles from Castleton to the Cocoadance Chocolate Factory, situated beneath Mam Tor, the Shivering Mountain. The walk includes a tour of the factory with demonstrations and tasters of award-winning chocolates! Discover the wonders of romantic Castleton and treat yourself to chocolate-lover's heaven!
Chocolate Indulgence Walk
A moderately strenuous guided walk of approximately seven miles around romantic Castleton and picturesque Edale, incorporating a visit to the sensuous Cocoadance Chocolate Factory for a demonstration and tasters of scrumptious chocolates! Not just a feast for your eyes but your taste buds as well!
The Secrets of the Passionate Peaks
Take a romantic guided walk for two, where you can visit Lover's Leap or discover the stunning landscapes that featured in the film Pride and Prejudice. We will tailor the day completely around you, whether you prefer a romantic stroll through pretty countryside or an exhilarating hill and moorland walk.
A special opening of Biddulph Grange Garden for five days in February. Each romantic couple that enjoys a warming drink in the tearoom will receive a chocolate treat.
Open every day during February from 10.30am with last entries at 4.00pm. Admissions £4 per person. Parking and children up to 16 free. Light refreshments and plant sales.
