Chesterfield Area Walking Festival 2013

Discover the beautiful countryside that surrounds Chesterfield, visit the pretty village of Ashover, follow Bess of Hardwick’s story all the way to Chatsworth, tour the five halls of Holmesfield or get your hands mucky on a sensory walk around Hardwick. Get up with the larks to hear the dawn chorus, or face your fears on the Chesterfield Ghost Walk.

With most of the 58 walks are free there’s no excuse not to join us!

I have been pleased to be involved with the Walking Festival since its
beginning.  It has been absolutely fantastic to see the
festival grow to become one of the premier Peak District events.
