Pride and Prejudice

Much of the filming for the acclaimed 2005 cinematic release of Pride and Prejudice was shot in the Peak District and Derbyshire.

The exterior and some interiors at Chatsworth were used to represent Darcy's family home, Pemberley, while Stanage Edge provided the spectacular backdrop for the film's iconic sequence of Lizzie Bennet, left.
