This 55 mile route (suggested five days) starts from Ladybower Reservoir near Bamford and follows the River Derwent down to Shardlow, south of Derby.
Scenery along the route changes dramatically, from the beauty of the Peak District National Park to the fascinating heritage of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and the bustling marina at Shardlow.

Buses may also be used as this is a route with good public transport connections. Walking distances may vary slightly, depending on the location of your chosen accommodation.
