Self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Peak District, suitable for 1-10 people. Situated on a hill top location, between the villages of Tideswell and Bradwell in the heart of the Peak District, our sympathetically restored limestone barn is divided into two self-catering cottages; The Dairy (pets welcomed) and The Parlour (no pets). Each sleeping up to 5. Both cottages's front doors are off the entrance hall with utility/drying room and extra downstairs toilet. Combine privacy with convenience if both let together - your friends/family are just across the hall. Ideal for families (children of all ages), cyclists, pets and walkers. Footpaths from the door and traffic free trails ideal for mountain bikes.
all within 20 mins drive: Bakewell, Haddon Hall, Buxton (Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre), Chatsworth House, Garden, Farmyard, Adventure Playground, Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Park, Castleton (the picturesque cave village), Derwent Dams (perfect location for cycling away from the traffic), Edale (the start of the Pennine Way over Kinder Scout and pony trekking), Hathersage (with many specialist outdoor clothing retailers and its outdoor heated swimming pool, summer only), Eyam Hall, the Monsal Trail (the tunnels recently opened, great for cyclists of all ages).

From the A623 Chesterfield to Stockport road: At Tideswell/Bradwell junctions the Anchor Inn pub is situated. There is a small, single track minor road called Castleton Lane which lies directly in front of the pubs front door, splitting the pub from its car aprk. Follow the lane for 1.5 miles, after a steep descent and ascent immediately turn left marked Peak Forest follow this road for approx 1 mile. Forest Lane Farm is the 1st property on the right hand side.
