There's a good range of group and party accommodation in the Peak District and Derbyshire, from hotels, B&Bs, self catering and historic hostels as well as holiday parks and camping barns.
Check the Camping, Caravanning and Alternative Accommodation section for other places such as camping barns if you love the great outdoors but would like a roof over your head. Facilities vary, but all have parking, cold running water, flushing toilet, sleeping area and somewhere to prepare and eat food. Sleeping areas are usually communal and some barns provide mattresses, but don't forget your sleeping bag!
Holiday parks offer caravan holiday homes, timber lodges and chalets which are also ideal for groups. They generally have self catering facilities but you'll find some also have a small shop and food available on site.
Youth hostels are great places to meet fellow travellers – choose from an ornate Victorian gothic manor to smaller hostels, or challenge yourself at one of the superb centres for climbing, abseiling and kayaking – some hostels are also able to provide meals as well as self-catering.
