Derby Cycle Routes - Locko Park, Dale Abbey & at Derby
The main route covers 20 milesand takes in Locko Park and Dale Abbey, returning via Stanton by Dale, Risley and the Riverside Path and includes a shorter 17 mile route via Ockbrook. The longer route covers 24 miles and links to the Nutbrook Trail, part of the cycle path between Long Eaton and Heanor. All the routes involve cycling on roads and some steep hills - therefore they may be unsuitable for families or those with limited road cycling experience.
