OVERVIEW                      

The Peak District sits between the highland parts of Britain and the lowland counties. This is marked in a variety of ways, and is chiefly seen in the landscape features.

ARRIVING BY CAR                    

The area is perfectly served by the UK's major motorway network.  From the north and south, both the M1 and M6 provide easy access. The M62, M42, M60, M56, M67 and M18 can also be used to reach the area.
