Alsop-en-le-DaleAlsop-en-le-Dale

A picturesque hamlet set in the glorious countryside of the White Peak.

Just off the A515 north of Ashbourne, a narrow lane winds down to this peaceful little backwater. There is a cluster of houses, a lovely old church and a pretty Elizabethan hall which all blend together to form an enchanting scene. It is hard to believe that this tiny rural community once had its' own railway station, half a mile away, it is now the site of a car park on the Tissington Trail, which follows the route of the former Ashbourne to Buxton Railway Line.

Things to do; With the river Dove just a mile away and the Tissington Trail on the doorstep, there are some fabulous walks in the area. Parwich is the nearest village with any facilities.
