Melanie and David welcome you to Markeygate Cottages and hope that your stay is a memorable and enjoyable one. We have been trading at Markeygate Cottages for over 15 years and we pride ourselves on the warmest welcome and the highest standards. Many of our guests come back year after year and many struggle to leave!
Both cottages (one is called the Markeygate Barn and the other Markeygate Cottage) are fantastic places to stay, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery that the Peak District has to offer.
All our beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the cottages are spotlessly clean, modern and very attractively decorated. Both cottages are Grade II Listed converted barns retaining many of their original features and charms. Described as 'two very special cottages' as featured in Peak District Life Magazine, the cottages are beautifully restored and individually designed with attention to detail with all modern amenities.
If you are celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat that special person we can arrange flowers, wine, champagne and chocolates for your arrival!
Markeygate Cottages are the ideal choice for exceptional comfort and top quality accommodation. You may struggle to leave!
