Sleeping up to 28 people in three Peak District bunk barns all next to each other. Our bunk barns have been converted from the existing Grade 2 listed farm buildings to high quality group bunk barn accommodation. Heating is by Ground Source Heat Pump and the conversion incorporates many recycled building materials such as flooring, doors and stonework.
We also utilise rainwater harvesting to flush the loos in the barns. All the bunk barns offer high quality accommodation with full size single bunk beds. The facilities in each include radiator central heating, full self-catering kitchens complete with all the cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils you will need. Basic blankets and pillows are provided along with pillowcases and some tea towels, but sleeping bags/bedding and towels are required.
The kitchens are equipped with stainless ‘range’ cookers with extractor hoods, fridges, microwaves, toasters and kettles.
Our Peak District bunk barns are intended for groups looking for a base rather than a ‘holiday cottage’, so no sofas, telly or garden areas – sorry!
We encourage walkers, climbers, reunions, families, educational, spiritual and various other gatherings to enjoy the peaceful use of our site.
We aim to develop the site in an environmentally sensitive way by including as many sustainable ideas and technologies as we find feasible.
We are a PRE-BOOKED GROUP PRIVATE PEAK DISTRICT CAMPSITE ONLY
This means we usually no longer take individual campers, only large groups, such as schools, DoE, family gatherings and training events etc. Approx. 30 pitches, accommodating 60+ people on site.
Available ONLY to all pre-booked camping groups. Two timber built Camping Huts that offer dry, quiet and windproof camping for up to 3 people.
Children welcome from any age.
