An outdoor attraction offering something for everyone; groups can enjoy informal activities such as a picnic, outdoor games, walking and cycling in the park to formal watersports lessons and courses to full day team building activities.
A Country Park offering 750 acres of land water and nature, Specific Activities and Events for your Group Visit
We can arrange specific activities tailored to your groups needs from hiring an area of the park and a marquee for the day to booking activities on the water with our instructors. For family groups we can book the miniature train and private play area just for your group to have for your own use.

Education Visits for group sizes from 10 to 50 with the Ranger Team-Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Tertiary Education use the park for formal visits with our Ranger Team.
Also, Education Visits for Group Sizes 10 to 250 with the Activity Centre Team-Class or full year days out.

Corporate Group Days and Family Fun Days:-
Visit the park and have a full day out with your business colleagues undertake some team building or have a family fun day out, parts of the park can be hired for events on the land or water and tailored for your needs.

Accessibility / Disabled Customer Group Visits:-
The main part of the country Park has a 3 mile walk which is ideal for wheel chairs and mobility scooters and pushchairs.

By Road - Follow the brown signs from Junction 31 M1 Motorway.

From Junction 31 M1 Motorway take the A57 towards Sheffield.
At the roundabout take the A618 towards Clowne, Mansfield and Wales Bar.
Follow the A618 straight on at the traffic lights
Go down the hill and at the bottom turn right into the entrance drive to the park.

By Public Transport-It is difficult to get to the park by public transport the nearest bus stops are at least a 1 mile walk into the park.
X5 Route
From Sheffield Bus Station takes you to Delves Lane at Wales Bar
(Half a mile walk to the park from the bus stop).
30 Bus Route
This operates some services to Eckington Way / Owlthorpe Greenway from Sheffield which is a 5 minute walk into the park from Rother Valley Way. Every 30 minutes
71 Bus Route
This operates from Chesterfield to Killamarsh, Sheffield Road and Norwood Roundabout.
There are public rights of way to Rother Valley Country Park from Sheffield Road along the Trans Pennine Trail near the Midland Public House, and near the Killamarsh Infant and Junior School. Also a public right of way is near Juniors Working Men's Social Club all walks from these bus stops are approximately 1 mile.
You can also depart the bus at Norwood and walk through the main entrance which is a 1 mile walk into the main part of the park.
271 Bus Route from Crystal Peaks and Worksop
This operates to Sheffield Road, Killamarsh and Norwood Roundabout, there are public rights of way to Rother Valley Country Park from Sheffield Road along the Trans Pennine Trail near the Midland Public House, and near the Killamarsh Infant and Junior School. Also a public right of way is near Juniors Working Men's Social Club all walks from these bus stops are approximately 1 mile. Only 4 / day
You can also depart the bus at Norwood and walk through the main entrance which is a 1 mile walk into the main part of the park.
SL3 Bus Link to SuperTram / Crystal Peaks
You can get off the bus at Rother Valley Way and walk into the entrance of the park at Sothall.

Blue Route to Halfway from Sheffield, exit at Westfield stop and the Park is sign posted by blue public rights of way signs approx 1 mile to the park.
