Details

Derwent House is fully equipped to meet the needs of groups of up to 12 people. There are two lounges that provide a range of seating, a large well equipped kitchen and a dining room with one table seating 12 people. Many of our guests use the house to celebrate a special occasion and our aim is to ensure that the house is ideal for this purpose. There are a range of cooking utensils, 2 ovens, 7 gas rings and a large fridge. There is also ample matching crockery and cutlery for a special meal in the dining room overlooking Knowleston Gardens.

Each room is individually designed to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment, whilst retaining the historical ambience of the grade II listed Georgian house. Downstairs there is ample space to socialise together or take some time to relax, read or listen to music. Each bedroom is individually decorated with coordinated furnishings and a number have en-suite facilities. In addition, the Victorian style bathroom, with roll-top bath, is ideal to relax after a day enjoying the delights of the Peak District. Wifi is provided.
The Peak District and is an ideal venue throughout the year for children and adults.

From the South -junction 28 M1. Take A615 to Matlock. On entering Matlock pass a Total Garage on left, take next left into Knowleston Place.
From the North - junction 29 M1. Take the A617. From Chesterfield take A61 signed Derby. Continue on the A61 to lights then follow signs for Matlock (A632). In Matlock. At the junction of the A615 turn right pass total garage on left then next left into Knowleston Place.
Public transport. Derwent House is approx 500 yards from the train and bus stations.
