Details

Heaton View Cottage is a truly special detached luxury 5 star country self catering property, located on the edge of the Peak District, 1/2 mile from the picturesque village of heaton, 4 1/2 miles from the market town of Leek. Its idyllic setting, with breathtaking panoramic views from the Staffordshire Moorlands across the Cheshire plain is situated on our working family farm. The cottage, completed 2010, was re-built by local craftsmen using traditional methods-hand dressed stone, oak beams, limestone and stone flag floors, even the curtain poles were made by the local smithy! It is beautifully furnished, and extremely well equipped throughout. The three luxurious bedrooms have comfortable quality beds. The garden is planted with roses, honeysuckle, herbaceous perennials and herbs. The patio with its marvellous views, is perfect for alfresco dining. Our location is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing (Rudyard Lake), golf, rock climbing (the Roaches), riding, wildlife spotting; but also as a base for visiting Chatsworth, Bakewell, Buxton, Alton Towers, The Potteries, Ashbourne etc. You can walk from the door, explore the Peak District and its many treasures-or maybe sink into one of the soft leather sofas besides the wood burner and simply chill out and relax!
