One-bedroom 17C cottages of great charm, character and comfort occupying lovely but contrasting locations at the centre of the Peak District. Fern cottage in the centre of Foolow village, Brosterfield Cottage on the fringe standing off the road and enjoying a beautiful outlook. Foolow is one of the prettiest villages in the Peak, a small conservation village with pond, Aylesbury ducks, Manor House, village green, 14th century cross and a pub with food. A haven for walkers, artists and lovers of country life and ideal for exploring the many attractions of the area including the historical plague village of Eyam, Chatsworth Estate, Haddon Hall, Ladybower (of Dam Busters fame), Bakewell, Castleton, the spa town of Buxton, the lovely dales of Lathkill, Cressbrook, Monsal and the numerous edges and crags. Other areas of beauty such as Dovedale are slightly further afield but are easily accessible.
Please note: both cottages are completely non smoking.
