Details

Join us at Renishaw Hall & Gardens over 9th and 10th August for a weekend of taste and visual sensations, at our plant, food & craft fairs and vineyard tours.
On Saturday 9th August, Renishaw Hall will host over twenty local and regional producers selling quality food, drink and crafts from the local area and there will be tasty treats to try on the day.
The second of the season's specialist plant fairs takes place on Sunday 10th August, showcasing some of the finest specimens to buy to brighten up your garden.
There's also the chance to book on to the popular Renishaw Vineyard 'tour and taste', which takes place on Sunday 10th August at 12 noon, allowing visitors to explore the vineyard with award-winning wine maker Kieron Atkinson, who will go through the cycle of the vine and take an informative tasting session with visitors.
Renishaw Hall & Gardens is open to visitors from Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday until the end of September, with Friday public hall tours at 1pm and 2.30pm. A visit around the hall gives insight in to the fascinating history of the Sitwell family and their incredible collection, in what today is still very much Alexandra Sitwell's home.

In addition there is also a Garden Exhibition which details the creation of the Italianate gardens by Sir George Sitwell in 1895, to the vibrant story of the literary trio Edith, Osbert and Sacheverall Sitwell in the early 20th Century.

Visit one or all of these for a great morning or afternoons viewing collections and learning of the unusual history of this fascinating family.
