Village

Details

Froghall is best known for its beautiful wharf and the Kingsley & Froghall Station for the Churnet Valley Railway. Look out for the remains of the huge lime kilns near the canal.

There are some great challenging walks in the area including the self-guided trail 'Caldon Connections'; this walk around Froghall reveals that most of the old industrial sites are now quiet and reclaimed by nature.
