You can enjoy a glass of wine or two or a tasty dish from our locally inspired menu in the Old Hall Wine Bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal - the cosmopolitan centre of the hotel where everyone meets. The Wine Bar is open all day for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Opening early and late for pre and post theatre dinners.
The Old Hall’s main restaurant also offers the very best in traditional and contemporary à la carte cuisine from around the world, amidst sumptuous surroundings and overlooking beautiful views. “Great staff, service, food and location.”
Had a delightful stay in this fascinating historic hotel. Our room was lovely and well kept while we there, and only lacked a little storage to unpack properly for our three nights stay. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the food (we ate 5 meals in the hotel) was very good and reasonably priced...as were the drinks. When we did have a small problem with one meal it was managed very thoughtfully. The location is great for visiting Buxton, and the Pavilion Gardens opposite are beautiful. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and adopted Huggie the teddy bear (in our room) as a lovely memento. Well done Old Hall!
