Devonshire Lodge is a fine Victorian detached house retaining many original features yet sympathetically modernised to provide all the comforts you could wish for amidst space and elegance.

Devonshire Lodge is within a few minutes walk of Buxton town centre and all the attractions it has to offer. Leave your car with us and save yourself the hassle of parking in the town. Buxton is known for its fine Victorian and Edwardian architecture boasting a fine Crescent and Pumproom bearing witness to the Buxton's history as a Spa Town.
The Opera House is nationally known for the annual Opera Festival and Gilbert and Sullivan season.

The Pavilion Gardens-an 18-acre park offers many delights and the Octagon has a regular menu of collectors fairs and other events.
Buxton has a good range of shops, many in stylish period arcades.

We have three spacious bedrooms beautifully decorated furnished with pine furniture and all are en-suite.
The bedrooms have remote controlled colour TV's and clock radio alarms.
Hair dryers are provided and ironing facilities are available on request.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided as well as a range of toiletries for your convenience.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in our delightful dining room and can enjoy pleasant views of the garden.
We can offer a full English or Continental breakfast. Vegetarians are catered for and we will be pleased to cater for special dietary requirements.

From A515 Ashbourne, go straight over Fiveways traffic lights up to the Market Place and down the other side. Turn left at the roundabout and go up the hill (Manchester Road, A5004). After a short distance look for the University campus with a large dome similar to St Pauls. We are just after this on the same side.

From A6 Bakewell, go left at Safeways roundabout and then turn right at Fiveways traffic lights to the Market Place. Then follow directions above. From A6 Manchester, go right at the first roundabout and follow signs for the station. Pass the station on your right and then go straight over the roundabout and bear right up the hill on to the A5004. Then follow directions above.

From A53/ A54/ A537 head into Buxton and at the traffic lights go straight on to St John's Road. At the end, turn left up the hill (A5004). After a short distance look for the former Devonshire Hospital with a large dome similar to St Pauls. We are just after this on the same side.

The nearest Railway Station is Buxton Station.
