Details

Baslow Hall stands at the top of a winding chestnut-tree-lined driveway on the edge of the picturesque village of Baslow. Chatsworth Estate is within walking distance and the old market town of Bakewell only four miles away. Baslow is the perfect location to discover the beauty of the Peak District and some of the country's finest stately homes.

The eleven bedrooms are individually-styled. The emphasis is on comfort with good beds, quality Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy white towels, robes and luxurious toiletries. Six traditional-styled bedrooms in the Main House feature lavish fabrics and ornate plasterwork ceilings. The five Garden House bedrooms are situated adjacent to Baslow Hall and are of a more contemporary stying.

Head Chef Rupert Rowley's cooking is always evolving, he combines classic favourites with more modern combinations and relies heaviliy on British produce in season including Derbyshire Lamb, Scottish Razor Clams, Cornish Shellfish and Yorkshire forced Rhubarb. The abundance of herbs and vegetables during the summer months at Baslow Hall and High Ashes Farm in Barlow supplement the kitchen and create innovative dishes.

Whether you come to stay overnight or visit us in search of quality food in beautiful surroundings, you will be a most welcome guest.
