Devonshire cottage is stylishly furnished, yet cosy. It is a beautiful cottage with a restful environment where you will want to enjoy spending time. Whilst retaining many original character features, with exposed beams and a cosy log burner in the living area there is a T.V with digital free view channels and a selection of DVD'S. Wifi is accessible free of charge.The compact kitchen is fully equipped, with a separate dining large dining area.The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 beautiful double bedrooms (1 small double) with crisp bed linen. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath,we provide luxury fluffy towels, liquid hand wash and hand cream.

Out side you can relax in the seated rear cottage garden enjoying the views of the stunning Chatsworth Estate.

Beeley is a picturesque chocolate box village. In the square and a few foot steps from Devonshire cottage, you can enjoy the delights of the renowned Devonshire Arms Inn, stroll up the lane and you will discover 'The Smithy', village café .

A rounded walk from Beeley along side the river to the magnificent Chatsworth House, set in beautiful park land, attracts visitors from all over the world. Haddon Hall is a stones throw away dating back to both Medieval & Tudor architecture with fine gardens. If castles are more your thing then Bolsover Castle, dominating the countryside from the hilltop, is well worth a visit.

A perfect retreat after spending a day in one on the many pretty villages or towns sightseeing, walking, cycling, caving, fishing, sailing, golfing or simply getting away from it all.

    Use Junction 29 of the M1

    - Drive along A617, Matlock Rd/A632 and Darley Rd/B5057

    - Exit the roundabout onto A617, At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Derby Rd/A61, Turn right onto St Augustines Rd.

    - At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Whitecotes Ln, Continue onto Matlock Rd/A632, Turn right onto Darley Rd/B5057.

    - Slight right at Alicehead Rd, Slight right onto Beeley Ln.

    - Slight Left & Continue onto Chesterfield Rd. From here you will see The Devonshire Arms Public House and opposite you will find Devonshire Cottage.
