Lovely peaceful garden, ensuite rooms, guest TV lounge. 3mins walk to Georgian town centre with many traditional shops, restraunts and pubs. Markets on Thursdays and saturdays. Quality fish and chips in possibly Ashbourne's oldest commercial building. 4 miles Carsington Reservoir with fishing and beautiful walks.
Described as "The Gateway to Dovedale", Ashbourne has much more to offer.

The medieval annual Royal Shrovetide Football Game attracts thousands of visitors as does the Highland Gathering held in July. A wide selection of eating and drinking establishments in the town cater for the discerning visitors every taste.
Near the town centre is the Tissington Trail, a former railway line, now converted for use as a trail for walkers and cyclists. Bike hire is available from the Visitor centre at Mappleton Lane. Market Day is on Thursday.
Other attractions nearby include Carsington Water, Strutts North Mill in the town of Belper and the Heights of Abraham and Gullivers in Matlock Bath. Also convieniet for Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
