A remote hill village in quiet limestone countryside, overlooking Havenhill Dale with Haven Hill to the south.

The tiny cluster of limestone buildings here are grouped by the Elizabethan Bradbourne Hall and the noble church of All Saints, which has the remnants of an 8th Century Saxon Cross in the churchyard.

Things to do; The neighbouring village of Brassington is nearest for facilities. Close by is Carsington Water (see Carsington). Plenty of good walking routes with The Limestone Way, Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail passing nearby.
